Cupro nickel resists corrosion whereas steel rusts away. IMHO there can be no
question which is better and the 20odd year old brake lines from Cupro nickel
that were driven across wet peat bog moors on a regular basis that still look
sound works for me.
Grease the threads between nut and brake cylinder then paint the outside of
the nut with Hammerite or similar and they will last longer than two women
talking. (Ooops!)
