This works both ways, guys. When I was in high school, I drove a 1952 MGTD that
I
bought & paid for myself. It took me an entire year to pay for the full-coverage
insurance that my mother required before I was allowed to drive it off the
ranch.
Most of the boys that asked me out, did so with the idea that I would let them
drive the MG. FAT CHANCE!!! Consequently, I did not date much while in school,
which led my mother to come to the conclusion that sports cars were not so bad
after all.
Now, I am older and set in my ways. I wouldn't even consider going out with most
of the men I know, let alone allow them close enough to my house to pet my cat.
Drive my Spridget - Hah!!
