...not that anyone missed me since I mostly lurk! ;-) But we just moved into
our new place in Christiansburg VA (right next to Blacksburg and Virginia Tech)
and I can't believe how many cool cars I've seen! All last week there was a guy
parking a new Prowler right under my office window. There's a nice looking
Model A that's been sitting at a garage for quite a while. Saw some nifty
looking old Plymouth (I think) circa late 1930s running around this morning on
the way to work and a Ford of about the same age for sale that I pass on my
commute each day.
But the coolest thing is all the LBCs I've seen. When we were first looking for
a house here at the end of May there was a white Midget for sale. There's an
import service place in town that has had a yellow TR-6 parked out front for a
couple of months. There's a blue CB Spridget there now for the last 3 days. A
couple of weeks ago there was an orange RB B for sale nearby. A brownish RB B
was in the office parking lot yesterday. And saw a really nice looking red RB
Midget on the road about a week ago. I didn't see so many great cars in the
whole 6 years I was in Northern VA outside of a show! Need to get my Midget on
the road and enjoying some of these great twisty back country roads!
Man, it's great being back in the country!
BTW, I know Robert Mantz (sp?) is in the Roanoke area. Anybody else in this
neck of the woods?
