Frank,
Are the thrust faces marked on the inner ring or the outer ring?
I haven't had one of these apart recently and can't recall. I am trying
to go by my rusty (figuratively) ball bearing knowledge since I an more
familiar with needle bearings.
The stub shaft where the inner race seats may be worn...
