Yes, that's what I've been thinking. Ford uses a flat donut shaped magnet in
the transmission pans on late models that is so strong, the first one I saw
I thought was glued in. I've got a couple I've thought about laying in the
bottom of an engine pan (clear of the pick-up of course).
