Manifold attachment

I have a 1275 in my Bugeye with stock exhaust
manifold, the type with the 3 studs.  One of the
stud's threads are mung'd.  Is there anything wrong
with drilling out the studs and replacing with 5/16-24
shoulder bolts?  What say you?
