Bugeye tach drive parts...

Does anyone know a source for replacement Bugeye tach drive inards?
Mine looks like a recent replacement by the PO.  The "E" ring inside
came loose and tore up the big (potmetal) gear.  It seems a same to have
to pay Moss $90. or VB $70 for just one gear.
