Spending my week end in the garage changing the engine in the daily
driver. 86 Shelby Charger turbo. Keep running into problems, cracked
turbo hose, right side CV joint fell apart when we pushed it outside.
Got all that taken care of, going to drop the junkyard dog in tomorrow.
Can't change the trans. in "Little Bits" until the daily driver runs.
It's also my drag car. Ran a 14.7 @ 90 mph last fall and still get 32
mpg. 14 PSI boost was a little too much and lost a cylinder. Saw a
Bugeye at Akron a few years ago with the same 2.2 turbo motor in it. Bet
it'd fly with 145+ HP.
Hope you're recovery is a fast one, and you're in good health from here on.
