I'd like to thank all the nice people who responded.
Yes, it's touching the axle because it's not an original exhaust. The
original & standard downpipe is welded to a handmade horizontal pipe and
completely different single silencer box, that barely misses the rear left
overrider !! So, from your measurements I can tell that my horizontal pipe
doesn't have the necessary downwards curve to easily clear the axle, it's
really straight.
