Phred not available as test pilot, except
by appointment, well in advance, as this would interfere with his:
"sleeping/eating/chase mouse (or bird)/play with squirrels" routine.
Also, leaving his own backyard for any
reason is not accpetable. Balloon would
have to come to Phred and contract would
have to guarantee his return to back yard
(all expenses paid by "contractor", obviously) in condition in which he
left
same (condition of balloon or flying device, notwithstanding).
Contractor would also be responsible for
providing favourite food, snacks and water
along with a warm place to curl up.
Phred is an associate member of the
Airline Pilot Association (ALPA) so all
FAR's inclusive of Flight & Duty Time
Limitations would apply. Phred is "senior"
and thus exempt from:
A. Reserve or Ready Reserve Assignment
B. Stand-Up Overnights
C. Drafting
D. Re-assignment should "planned sequence be interrupted for any reason
including, but not limited to:
inclement weather and/or "mechanicals".
Phred's seniority requires 3 days off in
any 7 (at home, not away from base)
and he will, under no circumstances,
commute. The contractor is also responsible for providing "female
companionship" from time to time, at
Phred's request.
(The immediately foregoing is a safety issue {Phred must be happy to be
safe}
and is therefore, not negotiable.)
Phred will not accept any less than the
current United pay scale for 747 10-year
Captains.
