I finally got the bugeye all put together and on the road for now.  I'm very
happy with the yellow paint I chose, though the extreme yellowness of it
takes a moment to get used to.

Of course next to my wife's persimmon Traveller it doesn't look that
startling.  On Friday nights we meet at a local restaurant each in our own
car.  This next Friday we should cause quite a stir in the parking lot.  An
impromptu Brit. car show.
I put on the black hard top I've had next to the garage for awhile and fixed
up a pair of sidecurtains and took a 45 min. drive in the rain on Saturday.
Dry and comfy inside, wipers working, defroster working, coffee hot.  Life
is good.
