Keeping religion and politics out of the conversation is the only
thing that keeps rugby post-game parties from becoming scenes of mass
destruction!
Spridget content: My wife is chief trial attorney for Dekalb county
(one of the two Atlanta city counties). In literally thousands of
cases, she knows of no instance where a crime was committed by anyone
driving a spridget, nor even an LBC, for that matter. Well, felonies
anyway.
Axe-murdering is right out.
However, she has had her share of cases with weird auto links. The
one that comes to mind is the case where a guy hi-jacks a convenience
store and the get-away car only had 3 tires. The rim left a gouged
track in the street, all the way back to the house he stayed at,
which of course was a short two-block walk away. Took the police
about 5 minutes to track him down. He was sitting in front of the
tube, eating the chips and drinking the beer that he'd just stolen
(along with the cash) at gun point. This story has now made the urban
legends list, but it really did happen right here in Dekalb.
