Hey,
Thank you to everyone that showed up and lent a hand in the project. Thank
you to all those of you that logged in and smarted off from a distance.
Thank you to those of you that sent food. And, a special thank you to Peter
(PPP) and Jane at Worldwide for hosting the party. It was great fun.
I suspect of I could have found all the parts, we could have completed the
task, butthe cars been moved 3 or 4 times, and I was lucky to find as much
as I did. A few minor bits of parts gathering, and a few purchases, and I
think another 8 or 10 hours, and the car will be done.
FYI... the camera and notebook CPU were way up on pallette shelving, so
comments from the peanut gallery we're always monitored. Next time (?), if
someone could volunteer to monitor/host the chat, those wishing to join
would get faster attention.
Also, I've got 3 of those wireless x10 cameras, and they can be made to
switch around for different camera angles... so, we might refine this some
more. Maybe the Thicko pits and party live on the web???
