Geoff, As long as you are in the bike shop, ask about cable housings with the teflon lining sleeve. Super smooth frictionless pull, less return spring needed. Nice on our tandem, nice on the throttle. Remember to only ask about high quality BRAKE cables, as the shift cables are smaller diameter and not suitable for throttle usage.
