I guess I got lucky - I was replacing the floors anyway, so I just peeled that 
area of floor out and went at it with the shop vac. I found many rust flakes 
inside. The area at the "top" of the triangle cought a lot of this debris in my 
car, but it also could be that in doing floors on a shell, flipping the shell 
upside down has an effect there too....
