Stupid idea. I'm sorry to say but I'm afraid the Brazilian airlines will simply be giving the hijackers the weapons they need to hijack. Not only that what about unqualified nervous or trigger happy gun owners who could become a threat to other passengers? Only the qualified sky marshals should carry a gun aboard an aircraft.
