Hi List,
Had the day off work to do some work around the house before the Winter sets 
in and not least make a start on re-modeling the garden lawn to get it a 
slope to it rather than have it end in mini 'cliff face'.  Also smoothing out 
some of the hopeless dips in it.
So, I cut the turf back in one area so I can fill it in with dirt from 
another to start the process.  A lot of rubbish under the turf including some 
glass, an old shoe etc. The spade hit something really hard at one point and 
guess what?  It was a Lucas voltage regulator box.  Dug a bit more and found 
a root of some king and hey!  The root was a an ignition plug lead so I gave 
it a good yank and attached to it was a complete distributur - the whole 
shooting match.  Strangest things I have ever come across in a garden.  
Anyone have a metal detector so I can check if there is a whole engine or 
even car buried in my garden!
