Exhaust gas analyzer

Years ago Heathkit used to sell a kit for making an exhaust gas
analyzer.  Does anyone know of a kit to make one of these things
today?  Or does anyone have a schematic for building an analyzer?  I
would like to use one to tune my car, I think it might be a bit better
than my ear.  A four gas analyzer would be great but I would settle for
a 2 gas analyzer.
