We did it that way several times back in the day. Can't remember what gear we used though. I do remember we put a thin (1/2 inch)block of wood between the jack and the diff to avoid the possability that the jack and diff would lock up on lowering and the car shoot forward with the jack stuck underneath doing some lovely damage. Don't stand in front of the car!!! |
