Aha!  I perceive, Larry!
175/70's may work on "narrow" rims but you are not getting half the
handling from
them you will experience on "wider" rims;
no where near.
Must place tire "under" rim to greatest extent possible even if it means
1/4"
spacers for "clearance" issues.
Will make a HELL of a difference; like
"night & day", handling-wise.
