hi!
i have been down since a lightning strike fried my modem on friday during
the incredible storms we had during the afternoon. yup! had a surge
protector for the computer but not the type that the phone line went
through. so now i have a new surge protector(with phone line in it and back
up battery to save work in progress if failure occurs). and a new modem has
been installed(by myself and wife assisting). now i told ya'll i'm a puter
sped! it took me and my wife too , over 8 hours to install a modem that sez
on the box installs in minutes with ez read instructions. yeah right! so
after hours of fiddling around i now am back up and running. so if there
are any pending messages i have not replied to......you will hear from me by
day's end. never a dull moment!
