Hi guys,
I'm looking for a part. Specifically, the clutch fork for a ribcase in a
1971 Midget (1275). Mine has a lot of play, and the end attaching to the
slave pushrod is pretty enlongated and looks as through it has been welded
up and redrilled once before. Might be salvagable, but right now I'm not
even sure where I'll be able to do a clutch job, but I know I'll have to do
it as quickly as possible wherever I end up and I want to have all the parts
ready to go back in as quickly as possible. So does anybody have a good one
they would be willing to part with? Moss has them, but they're $75 so if I
can get a good used one, that would be great. I'll probably replace the main
pivot bushing regardless, so wear there isn't a big concern. There's one on
eBay, but it's from a 948 and the Moss and VB catalogs list the same one for
the 1098 and 1275, but none for the 948, so I take it the fork is different?
