I got to say this , folks .... pleasure driving in this country,
although as large as it is, represents only a small fraction of oil and
gasoline used by industry. Telling people to stop buying gas is like
telling them to stop eating because the price of food is going up. Now
if you want to give this not buying gas to force lower prices crusade a
shot its fine with me.... hell, I would like nothing more than to be
wrong. The Arabs have us by the crotch for just as long as we refuse to
take advantage of the resources we have right here in our own country.
You better pray that Bush succeeds in getting those oil wells pumping in
Alaska and the Gulf pretty damn quick. Three dollars a gallon? Thats
just for starters. Ask any one of your British friends what he has been
paying for his petrol for the past 20 years.
