A friend at work described an event she witnessed while in England called a
"tattoo", where teams from the various armed forces compete in various
events. The one that got my attention was one where the three man teams
race minis around a tough course until they reach an 8' wall. The car must
be put over the wall before they continue on the course. They take out the
motor and pass it over the wall, then pass the rest of the car over, put the
motor back in and away they go.
They pick big men for the teams so there will be enough strength to
accomplish the lifts, but of course the problem is that all three must then
get back into a mini to continue the race to the finish.
Daniel(1312), do you have a tape of this event? Where could I find one?
This sounds like a cross between Junkyard Wars, dirt track racing, and
"world's strongest man".
