Speedwell gear knob

Hi list,

Turns out the Speedwell gear knob might not be an original but a copy - 
anyone confess to having pointed out the error of the vendors ways?  Please 
let me know because I have had NO sucess in even getting a response from the 
vendor of the IDF weber who claims it is a twin DCOE.
