I cleaned one of those up a while back--I used a soak in a tub of
kerosene--cleaned it inside and out, then sprayed it with engine cleaner,
followed by a strong hosing. I followed all that with some aluminum wheel
cleaner (with phosphoric acid base), and sprayed that off after about 5
minutes. The last step I used after watching my air conditioner man clean
the fins of our air conditioner with a phosphoric acid solution. It's pretty
now, although I am going to have to use some silver solder or somthhing to
replace one of the nozzles where the DPO tried to remove it and broke it off!
