Same source same muffler...but I added a dual chrome tip Monza
tail pipe/resonator on the end. Looks Great! sounds Great!
It's louder than stock but sounds oh so nice!
Everyone thinks I have some big ass engine in it or something.
I get all kinds of compliments on it's sound.

I have a cherry bomb muffler on my 1098 Midget, if you could really call it a
muffler. I am not happy with it because it is also way too loud under ever the
slightest acceleration. It does flow very well because you can look right
through it, no restriction at all. The sound is monotonous, even on a short
trip and the wife is not pleased with the noise.

I am planning to install a new muffler. My old Monza one is just too
loud. Does anyone know of "flow characteristics" chart available
online that lists more than the expensive Maniflow/Dynaflow/RC40
systems? Does anyone know how a regular old "cherry bomb" flows in
comparison to same? Finally, Vizard's book lists the Cyclone Sonic
Turbo as a good substitute for the Maniflow and RC40 systems for
those of us living outside of the UK. I cannot seem to find one. Does
anyone have a source and pricing?
TIA,
Jeff
PS: I tried going to the archives on this, but they seem to be gone!?
