I've done this conversion many times, for many people, I and they have
always liked the result. I use front shocks from an 82 Chevy c10. (This is
the shock that JC Witney uses. I know. I know, JC WITNEY!!!) They gave a
very crisp ride that lasted a very long time. The levers never lasted and
usually leaked all over everthing. Cost too much too. I never had the cushy
ride of an american car because the load is so much less, so the damping is,
for lack of a better word, crisper. I would never go back to the original
levers. They are only OK when they are new.

You know what I like about this format. No matter what you say, half the
people think you are an idiot. Ha
