saab of the 60's uses the sprite rear wheel cylinders with the wonderfully
easy to just snap in place clips too. ahh like it was just the other day i
was sharing expletives with the neighborhood under my car, hey it was just
the other day! ok here we go so hold on it gets a bit bumpy!
first start the ends in the grove. force it as far as it will go using a
punch to drive it up to the last bit then the little ear in the center that
will not go into the grove needs a wack with a direct hit on the tab. that
will allow it to enter the grove and finish seating the most delicatly
engineered wonder of the world! shooting a bit of spray silicone does not
hurt a bit either! and if ya break one...........gimmie a call i think i
have one or two left? not positive on that one but if needed i'll look .
those wonderfull devices of the devil are not just "e clips" but also
spring clips to keep the blasted wheel cylinder from rattling! so no
cheating here putting on upside down!
aint life grand upside down in a confined space? just imagine my
streamlined svelt shape doing the job! (now there's a picture - huh?) got
ya to laugh! as long as yer laughing .......head out to the shop and pop
