The single digit after the car number is the number of 1/8ths more
than
an inch
Hence
H1 = 1 1/8
H2 = 1 1/4
H4 = 1 1/2
H6 = 1 3/4 etc.
For a two digit number it is the diameter in Millimeters
HIF44 = 44mm = about 1 3/4
The letters after the H mean
IF = Integrated float
S = Side/separate float
D = Diaphram type jet
