Toby Two Grand oughta be enough to get a High quality paint job....What city
are you in? Are you expecting major Body work here? I used to own a Paint
shop and 2k was the average price for a REAL high quality paint job ... but
that was in the 80's... I just don't know what they charge today

The Paint for the Camaro cost me $500 in Materials alone and I did all the
work myself.... Trust me you can paint your own car... you just have to take
your time and buy quality paint and learn to polish it... It will cost you a
hell of a lot less then 2K... actually for about 1200 I could spec out the
Tools and Paint and you would own it all when you were through.... it's
going to require Time on your part but the beauty is you could say you did
it!!!
