Hi Jahn,
With the exception machining for the intake locating rings this head is
identical to the 12G295. They each have 1" exhaust and 1 7/32 intake
valves. They are both nice heads to put on 948 or 1098 blocks. Came with
1098's.

Re: A-Series Cylinder Heads
I have recently purchased a 1098 cylinder head for my 59 sprite, casting
number 12G-206.In David Vizards book 'Tuning the A-Series Engine'he refers
to this head as "... the very rare 12G-206 head" and "...the very much
rarer
12G-206 head...". Can anyone tell me why this head is rare? Is it because
it
is a dog and they have all been scrapped or is it a very desirable head
which is hard to obtain?
Thanks
J.L.Johnson
59 sprite
