We are experiencing a very large volume of inquiry's about Senate Bill 20=
99.
Senate Bill 2099 is a DEAD BILL for this year, since it was not placed on
the Senate Finance Committee calendar by September 5, 2000. That was the
cutoff date for any bills to be considered in that committee. It cannot g=
o
to the floor for a vote unless it is heard by its respective committee, a=
nd
passed by a simple majority in that committee.
Man, if we could just get the same folks that spread this information aro=
und,
to catch fire over the Texas lawsuit..................
