I had the same torrential rains here in NJ on Friday.
I was drenched when I finally got home. I think rainx
sort of works for the windshield, but I only put it on the
outside. I forget to do my glasses. Turns visibility was
just as good with the glass as without. The wipers turned
out to be useless, could be that the springs were not
strong enough to hold the blades to the glass. And you
guys thought Kate was a hazard. By the time
I got home I have about 1.5 inches of water in the Midget
and it looked like I had been in a pool. Used the shop
vac to clean out the water and when the rains stopped
I took the car for a drive to air it out. The only
real down side was being the point of humor for all the
people around me. I got more than one smart comment since
I was in stop and go traffic for about 5 miles. At least
it was not cold out. I really should install the hood
I have in the garage :-)
Sounds like you guys had a blast. Next time you see Joe
ask him about his Famous Amos Emergency Air Bag.
