I finally got my 77 Midget on all fours and running tonight. Things
were looking up until I notice white smoke coming from the cat. converter.
My ZS carburetor was leaking gas out the bottom by that brass plug. What
is underneath? I checked the fuel pump and according to my pressure
gage it is putting out 3.5 - 4.0 PSI which I think is fine for this
carburetor.
What I am looking for is a quick and simple answer. I need to have
the fixed ASAP so I can get the car on the road for the PA rally. I
have not included any time in my schedule for delays or problems :-)
Any ideas? Short of any ideas from the list I will pull the carburetor
and see what is under that stinking brass cover.
