Hi Kids
I put in my .02 every now and again. I'm General Counsel for a "small"
business called Carlton Forge Works. We make forged rings-n-things for
the jet engine business. Everything that doesn't (or shouldn't) spin in
a jet engine, plus some parts that do. We work with aluminum, titanium,
steels and high-temperature alloys. I usually read and write contracts.
The rest of the time I function as a troubleshooter for OSHA, safety,
and employee issues. I am given a fairly long leash, so I can enjoy the
list's writings and ramblings.
I have two Healeys (and an understanding Wife). A '59 Sprite and a '59
BN7. Both making their way back to regular use. The big Healey is the
closest to being completed.
I attended my first vintage race about six weeks ago. I was very
impressed by the Spridgets in the MG vs. Mini Challenge race. It made
me want a 1275 Spridget! The only vehicle that was as impressive was a
MkII Tiger that really opened a can of whoopass in the big engine race.

Hi, Spridgeteers!
I think we did this once or twice before, but it's probably a good idea
to
recap every now and then to accommodate new members.
I am an aerospace engineering supervisor (civilian) with the U.S. Navy.
My
team provides engineering and logistics support to the Navy's Sea King
helicopter operators. Sort of a 911 service for the fleet, like this
list
provides for Spridgets!
