Given that the solstice ("summer" reflects our northern hemisphere
chauvinism because it's the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere) is
actually at 21:48 EDT even with Concorde like speeds I doubt you'll beat the
time difference to make the real thing (no I will not reopen the when does
the Millenium really start debate) although you could make the sunrise party
if you're quick. The Goodwood Festival jaunt up Lord March's driveway is on
this weekend and if you ever get the chance it is well worth the trip. I
used up all the then existing IOU's with my wife and two small sons in 1994
when we took the Thurs night redeye to Heathrow and then drove straight to
Goodwood where they were abandoned in a great local B&B to sleep while I
started three days of intensive nostalga.

Stonehenge is a Druid place of worship in England. Built thousands of years

ago. Every summer solstice, the modern Druids go there at midnight to
worship.

I don't know if they bring a DJ, Larry, but it is probably worth the trip.

If you go, you might stop by Goodwood and see if anything is going on.
