All of our cars that are past the magic age have never been looked at, that
is there is no visual inspection except perhaps when you sell the car. You
are correct that the law for the old cars states that they must pass visual
inspection but as far as we know there are no inspection called for. There
is a lot of debate and discussion going on in Sacramento about road side
inspections and mobile units to check emissions of vehicles going down the
highway. Being stopped for one of these, if they come into existence, are
the only occasions for inspection that come to mind. Do you know of other
occasions?
