Happy Friday
For those that recall my troubled 2 weeks with suspected fuel starvation
and other forms of engine stress I have good news. The problem has been
solved. And the weiner was my nearly new Lucas Sport coil. In sorting
this out I now have a wonderful new fuel pump, all the fuel line
connections have been triple checked, I own a lost cost fuel and vacuum
gauge, a new condensor and at this point a new cheapo generic coil that
works great. The problem only occurred while motoring at a constant 4-5K
RPM. Therefore each test run I made after installing or checking a
component took me at least 30 minutes because I had to get out of the city
to do it. What a process.
Many thanks to all those that contributed suggestions and shared experiences.
I'm off to Britfest tomorrow with the top down and the tunes cranked. :))
