Don't forget that the float level must be the same for both carbs. You
can
best determine this by looking down into the jet and seeing where the level
is after you have filled the float bowls with the fuel pump. It should be
approx. 1/8 inch below the top of the jet. If you have to adjust the float
level up or down you must lower the fuel in the bowl {I just use a clean rag
to absorb some of fuel], then adjust the float and reassemble the bowl then
turn on the fuel pump to see where the level is. This job requires a lot of
patience but will save you lots of trouble later. Su's, once set properly
are the easiest carbs in the world to adjust and maintain.
