I looked at a car once like this in Nyack, NY, 1990.
Conversation went like this:
"Solid looking Bugeye, needs a lot to make it right,
though, probably $5,000."
"Yeah, that's about right, but we can do all the work
for you, and if you buy the car here the rate is only
$40 per hour."
"Well, I'd do it myself anyway. How much?"
"25."
"Hundred?"
"Thousand."
Then ROTFLMAO, but I was the only one laughing.
