I'm not sure why, but every year for the last several years there has been
some talk about the Bowie show ending its run at Allen Pond Park, where it
has been since at least 1990. The park isn't closed to the public that day.
The children's area is open and there have always been people boating on the
lake, so it appears to be open, too. Looking at the cars gives the public
one more thing to do that isn't there every day.
I will be there again this year. Look for the yellow over black Big Healey,
and I'll be somewhere nearby. I hope to meet a few more of you there.
