Another question -
I recently began using my BGT as a nearly daily driver
and put it on "normal" insurance. For my "Classic"
insurance on the Bugeye, I use Haggerty's. When I
initially got it, I told the agent I would be driving
the car in fair weather to work maybe 3 or 4 times per
month to "show it off", and that the car was in a
company lot with an armed guard. I was told that was
OK, as long as I showed that I had a routine daily
driver and that Bugeye use to work was only
occasional. Since the work lot photographed license
plates on entry/departure, I'd have no problem proving
(if it came to that) that use was occasional.
With a new underwriter Haggerty's policy is now NO
trips to work regardless of frequency of use or
availability of daily driver. Does anyone have a
classic policy that is more flexible on occasional use
to the office?
