  Thanks for a quick response.  I too first thought it might be the Weber.  
It was brand new out of the box, so I tried several others right out of the 
box with the same result.  It's almost as though pressure is building in 
either the Carb or somewhere in the cylinders forcing pressure out the carb.  
Timing checks good along with Dist and coil.  Still no luck; I tried 3 LBC 
shops today with nothing but head scatching.  Anyone else take a go?
