Fellow Listers,
What an interesting array of responses.
To those of you that are accepting of Far Eastern parts, all of you should line
up for a good spanking.
Those of you that have only received items that carried a Union Jack label are
very lucky and should buy lottery tickets on a regular basis.
Anyone doing a concourse restoration should go to a mall.
Anyone doing a concours restoration with Taiwanese parts should also go to the
Mall, preferably on a cruise night.
And any that don't see the difference between the demand created by a 30 year
old enthusiast vehicle of which there are still tens of thousands still
registered and on the road and a low/limited production vehicle or one that is
not and never was an enthusiasts vehicle (Like a Plymouth Fury or Olds 98) need
to hear my son's pet hamster named Liberace that he taught to play the piano.
If none of this makes any sense, then look at this as a valid comparison to
advocating the use of repro junk in place of quality, proper fitting, correctly
made parts.
And what's all this about Media Blasting? Sorry.
Jay Fishbein
Still believing that JUNK should be rejected.
