I've got a buddy with a '85 XJ6 that's got a charging problem. He just
replaced the battery on it. He knows next to nothing about cars so I'm
trying to help him out as he's definitly in the WE TIGHT category. I took a
look at the car and I can't find an alternator or generator or anything on
it, just an ac pump, power steering pump, and an air pump for the emission
control junk. What's up here? If anyone can provide some insight or point
me in the right direction I would be thankful.
