     At Walm**t, Plasticote sells a chevy orange/red paint that is very
close.  It is what I used on my newly rebuilt engine.  I have had my 1500
since new and the cover has always been red/orange.  In the original
sprite/ midget book, they show some of the valve covers on the 1500 to be
silver,  I think these were english only cars.  IMHO
