OK, I did it again. All is quiet and sems real smooth. I went back and re-adjusted the valves, then went thru and checked them all again. Now it sounds fine. I even think the exhaust note is a little better too. Shawn, I'll let you know about any performance improvements after the roads dry out this afternoon. (We ole retired gennemuns don't need to go out 'till the weather's fine.) Thanks fer the suggestions. Like so much in life, it was just a matter of adjustment. chuck |
