This is ok but not as simple as it appears. Firstly there are 2 distinct types of formulation for anti freeze and at least in the UK one is advertised as a summer coolant having a benefit over straight water. UK formulations of antifreeze has a corrosion inhibitor and without this the cooling system can rust up which in turn reduces the efficiency of the system. Raising a boiling point is neither here nor there it would be as easy to just up the poundage of the rad cap. Daniel1312 |
