Actually, the Fairlady 1500 was introduced in 1962.  We know them better
as Datsun Roadsters.  (OHV engines similar to their British counterparts
until the OHC 2000 in 1967.5. This engine was a high production version
of the Toyota 2000GT piece.  Outstanding speed and reliability, but none
of the finesse or handling of LBC's.)

The 240Z was the "Fairlady Z".

This bit I don't know for sure, but I doubt it.  The "concept" might
have been Toyota (2000GT), but the execution was simply the evolution of
the Datsun Roadster using a copy of the big Healey engine and a
TR6-style IRS.
